Overview
Odin Training ("we", "our", or "us") builds apps designed to support your training. This privacy policy applies to all apps published under the Odin Training developer account, including Odin Timer and Odin Training.
We believe in keeping things simple. We collect as little data as possible and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Data We Collect
Our apps are designed to work primarily on your device. The following data may be stored:
- Local storage — timer presets, session history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using your device's storage. This data never leaves your device.
- Notifications — if you grant notification permission, we use it solely to deliver in-session timer alerts. We do not use notifications for marketing.
- No account required — none of our apps require you to create an account or provide personal information.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Location data
- Health or fitness data to external servers
- Usage analytics or behavioural tracking data
- Device identifiers for advertising purposes
Third Party Services
Our apps are distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect certain data as part of their platform services. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on data collected through their platform.
We do not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs into our apps.
Permissions
Our apps may request the following device permissions:
- Notifications — used to deliver timer phase alerts when the app is in the background. Optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
- Vibration — used for haptic feedback during timer transitions. No permission prompt required.
- Wake lock — used to keep your screen on during an active timer session.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
